ResQbag works because customers and merchants both hold up their end. These guidelines set out what we expect from everyone on the Platform, and what happens when those expectations are not met.
The single most damaging thing on a food-rescue platform is a bag that is reserved and never collected — the food is packed, cannot be relisted, and is wasted anyway. Collect within your pickup window, and cancel early if your plans change so the bag can go back on sale.
Merchants must hold a valid FSSAI licence, list food that is safe and fit for consumption, describe bags and their vegetarian / non-vegetarian status honestly, declare major allergens, honour confirmed orders, and keep the stated pickup window. Merchant listings and photographs must be their own and must accurately represent what a customer will receive.
If a listing is inaccurate, misleading, offensive, or infringes someone’s rights, report it from the listing itself (Report this listing) or email support@resqbag.in with the listing name and, where relevant, your order ID. Food safety incidents should be reported within 2 hours of collection with photographs, and serious incidents also to FSSAI at foscos.fssai.gov.in. Reports are reviewed under our Content Moderation Policy.
| First minor breach | Warning by email |
| Repeated no-shows or breaches | Temporary suspension of ordering |
| Fraud, abuse, or safety risk | Immediate and permanent account termination |
| Merchant breach | Listing removal, delisting, or removal from the Platform |
We apply enforcement proportionately, and we will tell you why. If you believe an action against your account was wrong, appeal to support@resqbag.in — a person who was not involved in the original decision will review it, and we respond within 7 working days. © 2026 ResQbag Technologies, Bangalore, India.
