This Cookie Policy explains how ResQbag uses cookies and similar local-storage technologies on resqbag.in and in the ResQBag app. We use a deliberately small set: enough to keep you signed in and the app working, and nothing for advertising or cross-site tracking.
On the web we use browser localStorage and cookies; in the mobile app the equivalent mechanisms are the operating system’s secure keystore and local app storage. We group them as follows.
| Strictly necessary | Your authentication session and refresh token, so you stay signed in between visits. Without these you cannot log in or place an order. |
| Functional | Your saved bags, cart contents, chosen pickup location, and whether you have dismissed the install prompt or completed onboarding. |
| Diagnostic | Sentry crash and error reporting, which records a short-lived session identifier to group errors. Session replay is masked and no personally identifying information is attached. |
Because we set no advertising or tracking cookies, the App Tracking Transparency prompt does not apply to the ResQBag iOS app, and our iOS privacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking as false.
Strictly necessary storage cannot be turned off without breaking sign-in. You can clear functional storage at any time by signing out, by clearing site data in your browser, or by uninstalling the app. Diagnostic reporting can be limited by opting out of analytics/diagnostic sharing in your device settings. Deleting your account removes the server-side data associated with these identifiers, as described in our Data Deletion Policy.
